This Associazione Italiana Donne per lo Sviluppo (AIDOS) advertising campaign focuses on the plight of Afghani women using ads and commercials that feature Deborah Compagnoni, the Olympic skier and winner of multiple gold medals in 1996 and 1997.

The ads have run free-of-charge in 20 major Italian newspapers and periodicals. AIDOS also placed Face to Face Campaign messages with 120 local radio stations, including four interviews of four minutes each with Deborah Compagnoni. This combination of advertising in print and radio reached over one-third of Italy's population.
