“Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" Hanne-Vibeke Holst
On March 9, 2001, Danish viewers of the internationally syndicated game show “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?” were treated to a special celebrity episode featuring UNFPA Goodwill Ambassador Hanne-Vibeke Holst. Hanne-Vibeke played for her favorite cause, the Face to Face Campaign, and charity, The Danish Family Planning Association.
Hanne-Vibeke competed against nine other Danish celebrities for a chance to play the million Danish Kroner trivia game. After besting her fellow contestants during the opening speed round, Hanne-Vibeke advanced to the “hot seat” where she proceeded to answer the 250,000 Kroner question (approximately US $ 30,500).
Equally important as the prize money, Hanne-Vibeke was able to inform the TV audience of the millions of women who do not have access to reproductive and sexual healthcare and the efforts of Face to Face Campaign Partners to change this situation.

"Women of the World Face to Face" Photo Exhibition Reaches the European Parliament
What began as national Face to Face awareness building project by the Federación de Planificación Familiar de España (FPFE), the photo exhibition "Women of the World Face to Face" is now informing a pan-European audience. With the assistance of IPPF European Network and a grant from the Face to Face Campaign, a multi-language version of the original photo exhibit opened at the European Parliament on the even of International Women’s Day 2001. The powerful, visual images were a compilation of 21 different photographers whose work portrays the situation of sexual and reproductive health and rights of women around the world.
The exhibit’s effectiveness as a tool for conveying messages and preempting social change promoted Lyn Thomas, Director of IPPF European Network and F2F Board Member, to bring the exhibit to a larger audience.During the event, Lyn informed the numerous guests about women in the neighboring countries of Central and Eastern Europe, where the sexual and reproductive healthcare services are lacking and where resources, commitment and assistance are especially needed.
