Stacey Daniels is well known as a youth-oriented host of the Mai Time and Showstoppers TV programs in New Zealand. In 2002, Stacey volunteered to raise awareness in New Zealand of population and development issues in Asia and the Pacific and she participated in the Pacific Regional Youth Congress on HIV/AIDS, where she chaired the session on "HIV/AIDS and the media."
