Since joining Germany’s television industry in 1963, Mr. Biolek rose to become one of its most prominent personalities. Mr. Biolek is an advocate for the rights of young people to adequate sex education education and health care. In October 2003, he received the Federal Cross of Merit, Germany’s highest acknowledgement for extraordinary merit in common welfare.
