In July 2006, Face to Face shifted its focus and complete attention to women's economic empowerment:
Equity and employment Working with the private sector to: Create more income-generating opportunities for under- and unemployed women in emerging markets. Design enterprise models suited to the needs and conditions of women with little working capital and business experience. Mobilize resources for women owned and operated businesses. Foster gender equality, safe working conditions and transparency.
Education Integrating into all equity and income generating initiatives: Opportunities/training for further career advancement Vocational training and internship opportunities for girls Anti-corruption, transparency and good governance education Counseling in male responsibility
Entertainment Developing TV, Internet and other commercial and public media programming designed to: Promote specific women-owned business initiatives Educate (in an entertaining way) people on the obstacles to womens empowerment Educate people on the benefits to society of gender equality Promote anti-corruption, transparency and good governance
