 Angelika Prokop is a specialist in political and business transformation, anti-corruption and international governance.
Ms. Prokop graduated from Warsaw University with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a double major in International Management and Anti-corruption Measures. She has researched ethical problems in post-communism countries after transformation and is working towards her Ph.D., investigating best practices and new methodologies related to good governance, anti-corruption and capacity building.
Prokop began her professional career in Eastern Europe where she advised various governmental Ministries on anti-corruption reform.
Ms. Prokop leads the organization in the planning and implementation of its four main areas of activity: • working with businesses to create more income-generating opportunities for under- and unemployed women in emerging markets; • designing enterprise models especially suited to the needs and conditions of women with little working capital and business experience; • mobilizing resources to co-finance locally owned and operated business enterprises; and • consulting with governments, NGOs and businesses on gender equality, safe working conditions and transparency.
